JobIntroductionWe have anopportunity as a Supported Living Manager at our services inSandwich, Kent. The Supported Living Manager will be responsiblefor managing 2 adjacent apartment blocks consisting of 15individual, one bed flats. We provide intensive support for adultswho may have enduring complex, mental health backgrounds, autism,learning disabilities or physical health needs.Everyonehas their own unique reason for choosing Turning Point. You and your team will developand maintain flexible and realistic support plans using ourexcellent digital care management system in collaboration with thepeople we support, family members and other professionals. You willbe responsible for everyday operational management.Thisposition would also suit a Team Manager/Team Leader someone whocurrently has management responsibilities, who is looking to takethat next step in their career into a more senior managementposition. You will be managing a team through a time of change andhaving a background in a supporting living setting will be anadvantage. Flexibility is essential and you should also have a fulldriving license and access to a car.The IdealCandidatePrevious Management experience withinthe Learning Disability sector, preferably supportedliving.Knowledgeof CQC and experience of managing services which are governed bythese regulationsExperience of improvingservicesManagementexperience of multiple propertiesSound understanding of supportedliving servicesExperience of being accountable forbudgets and how to ensure they remain within requiredparametersKnowledge and experience of managingstaff teams, developing talent and managing performanceissuesPersonalqualities to be able to motivate staff members, develop leadershipand delegate skillsPositive communication skills, bothverbal and writtenAbility and experience of workingalongside Commissioners, Stakeholders, Regulators and other partieswho are involved with a serviceYou will be required to be part of anon call rotaYouwill be required to undertake CQC registration following successfulprobationAbout usAboutusAs a leading health and social careprovider with more than 300 locations across England, we take realpride in the services we offer.We run all of our services on anot-for-profit basis; instead, we invest every penny back into ourservices and people.
