Learning and Development Consultant

This is a part-time role, 25 hours per week.To support the provision of high-quality development activity across the practice. In particular, this role will support the implementation and ongoing management of our new LMS, including:Setting up and maintaining learning pathways and journeysCreating new training content to specifications, using our state of the art AI content creator toolDeveloping and modernising existing training contentDealing with user queries on the LMSAbout the role Supporting the LMS system implementation, including the creation of learning journeys and checking all links are working correctlyOngoing maintenance of the LMS, including the correction of people data and links within itResponding to LMS user queries and provide further training on the system if requiredCreating unique content on the LMS, to a specific brief, to be signed off by the Head of L&DDiscussing training needs with senior people in Key service Lines and taking briefs from them which can be converted to relevant contentUsing reporting and metrics within the system to measure the success of development activities, and making recommendations to KSLs and the Head of L&D based on these metricsRunning training campaigns for the Head of L&D and KSLsSupporting the Head of L&D and Student Manager with other related L&D activity, including the support of our studentsWorking collaboratively with the broader People Team to identify, design and deliver training and development contentWhat we’re looking for A strong verbal communicator, with the ability to build constructive and positive relationships up to Partner level.Confident across a range of technology solutions, including game based technologyEvidence of the ability to create learning content and to deliver to a very specific learning needStrong problem-solving skills, with the ability to view a problem from different perspectives in order to identify the best solution for the business.What we can offer Financial wellbeing – competitive salary, contributory pension scheme, Life Assurance, Health Cash Plan, Income Protection Scheme and Perks at Work discounts and rewards.Leave – 25.5 days plus bank holidays, holiday buying Mental wellbeing – hybrid working (3 days in the office/2 from home) and flexible working policies, Employee Assistance Programme and counsellingPhysical wellbeing –Private Medical Insurance, Critical Illness Insurance and an annual flu jab.Recognition – monthly nominations for financial awards based on culture and valuesDevelopment – we offer continuous support and development with clear mapped progression routes across the business, as well as access to internal and external training coursesDiversity, inclusion and belonging – we operate several family-friendly policies and take proactive steps to create an inclusive environmentESG – give as you earn, 1 extra day off each year to take up volunteering opportunities.
