This role involves leading the existing team, driving the IDAM transformation, and aligning security and compliance with business objectives.The responsibilities include developing the IDAM strategy, managing IDAM platforms, governance, and processes, and collaborating with HR, IT, R&D, Procurement, and Security teams to protect digital assets while enabling secure user experiences.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement IDAM strategies, solutions, and policies to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance.Manage user access provisioning, de-provisioning, authentication, and the full user lifecycle, including identity governance and privileged access management.Serve as a subject-matter expert on IDAM disciplines, including identity lifecycle, governance, access management (SSO, MFA), and identity verification.Collaborate with various teams to align security requirements and promote IDAM system adoption.Evaluate and adopt emerging IDAM technologies to improve security and efficiency.Oversee IDAM platforms, support services, and operational KPIs and SLAs, providing regular reports to stakeholders.Engage with the business to identify improvement opportunities and facilitate decision-making regarding IAM systems.Manage team capacity, skills, financials, and work with vendors to optimize partnerships.Stay updated on digital trends and assess new technologies’ impact on IDAM services.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.8+ years of IDAM experience, operational or consulting.Hands-on expertise in IDAM concepts like federation, authentication, authorization, access controls, and identity lifecycle.Knowledge of Identity Governance solutions (IGA), including configuration, security, integration, reporting, and testing.Experience with IGA solutions such as SailPoint, Okta, PingIdentity, CyberArk, and both on-premises and SaaS implementations.Understanding of business processes, identity-first security, IT controls, risk management, and compliance standards.Experience with authentication technologies (e.g., Azure AD, federated identity management).Knowledge of audits, compliance, and risk management.Strong leadership and technical management skills.Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.Strategic thinking and ability to align technical solutions with business goals.Ability to translate security issues into business language for executive understanding.Experience working with program management and IT Office to meet delivery and financial targets.Leadership ability to guide teams and drive projects.Desired Skills:Experience with HR platforms like Workday.Knowledge of IDAM industry trends and best practices.Experience implementing large-scale IGA solutions (at least two).Certifications in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and/or security (CISSP, CISM).UK Benefits include:Flexible benefits fund, emergency leave, adoption leave, 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays, pension, life cover, private medical insurance, parental leave, and education assistance.Benefits may vary by country, but packages are comprehensive.More info: aveva.com/en/about/careers/benefits/Employees are generally expected to work in the office three days a week, with some roles fully remote depending on the position.Hiring process:Apply by submitting your cover letter and CV through our portal.
